Terms of service

The service

Software for the UAE's car trade: garages run their workshop, recovery companies dispatch and track their trucks, parts stores take orders, and car owners keep their cars' records and deal with the businesses they choose. We provide the software; the work on your car, the tow or the parts come from the business you deal with, not from us.

Your account

• Give true details, keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us at support@garage.autowork.ae if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• A workspace belongs to the person who opened it. The owner decides who joins its team and what each person can do.
• You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

Businesses on the service

Garages, recovery companies and parts stores are responsible for:

• their work, prices, quotes, invoices and refunds, and their own tax and legal duties, including VAT;
• their customers' data: having a lawful reason to keep it and to message those customers, and answering their requests;
• their staff and drivers, and the accuracy of what they send through the apps.

An agreement for a repair, a tow or a sale is between the business and its customer. We are not a party to it.

Payments

Plans for businesses and Premium for car owners are billed through Stripe. They renew until cancelled; cancel at any time — businesses in Billing, owners in Me — and the plan runs to the end of the period already paid. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments you make to a garage or a recovery company by card are processed by Stripe under its own terms, and we never see or store card numbers. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it; a refund for a repair or a tow is for that business to give.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to send spam or messages people did not agree to, to reach data that is not yours, to upload content you have no right to, to disrupt or probe the service, or to copy or resell it.

Your content

What you put in the apps stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features; if a change takes away something you pay for, we tell you first.

Liability

As far as the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai decide any dispute about them.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we change the date on this page, and tell you in the app or by email before a change that matters takes effect. Questions: support@garage.autowork.ae.
